Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals is a cricket franchise co-owned by GMR Sports and JSW Group which participates in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Women's Premier League (WPL). Former Indian international, Hemang Badani is the current Head Coach of the Delhi-based men’s franchise. The women’s franchise is led by legendary Australian Skipper, Meg Lanning, while Jonathan Batty is at the helm of coaching duties. The women’s team has been Runners-up in the first two seasons of WPL.
Dubai Capitals
Dubai Capitals is a GMR Group-owned cricket franchise in the International League T20, a T20 eague tournament held in the United Arab Emirates which started in 2023. In the 4 seasons since the inception of ILT20, Dubai Capitals are among the competing six franchise teams. Led by the Sri Lankan all-rounder Dasun Shanaka, the team features a plethora of cricketing stalwarts, including Rovman Powell and Mohammad Nabi. The team that became league champions in season 3, is coached by Hemang Badani.
UP Yoddhas
UP Yoddhas is a Kabaddi franchise in Pro Kabaddi League, a professional men's Kabbadi league in India. Owned by the GMR Group, UP Yoddhas is among the 12 participating teams in the PKL.
Based in Uttar Pradesh, one of the largest states in the northern region of India, UP Yoddhas made their debut in PKL in the year 2017.
Telugu Yoddhas
Telugu Yoddhas is a Kho Kho franchise in the Ultimate Kho Kho – a franchise-based league that started in 2022. Owned by the GMR Group, Telugu Yoddhas is one of the six franchises in the Ultimate Kho Kho. The team was Runners-up in the inaugural edition, played at the Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune. Telugu Yoddhas is led by Pratik Waikar, who also led the Indian Men's team to the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup title in January 2025 in India.
Rugby Premier League
Rugby Premier League (RPL), a franchise-based league is the first-ever tournament of its kind in India. RPL includes some of the world's finest rugby players from every major sevens playing nation, alongside India's finest talent.
With the reputed group, GMR, as the Organising and Marketing Partner through its subsidiary GMR Sports, RPL is a credible, exciting and new property on the international sevens calendar.
Utilita Bowl
Opened in 2001, the Utilita Bowl is one of the UK’s most modern, purpose-built international cricket venues and a key asset in GMR’s expanding global portfolio.
With a 19,000-seat stadium, a fully integrated 171-room Hilton hotel, the scenic Boundary Lakes Golf Course, and premium dining and wellness facilities, the venue operates as a complete sport, hospitality and leisure destination.
The stadium will host major international fixtures including England vs India and England vs Sri Lanka in 2026, followed by its first-ever Ashes Test in 2027 — a landmark milestone in its global rise. Beyond cricket, it also stages large-scale concerts for up to 35,000 spectators.
Its inclusion in the GMR ecosystem strengthens the Group’s diversified presence across global cricket infrastructure, sports tourism and fan-led entertainment, reinforcing its position as one of the South of England’s leading multi-experience venues.
Hampshire Cricket
Hampshire Cricket is one of England’s most storied white-ball sides, with a heritage spanning more than 150 years. Based at the iconic Utilita Bowl in Southampton, the club has built a reputation for excellence, resilience and innovation — values that strongly align with GMR’s global sporting vision.
A dominant force in the Vitality Blast T20, Hampshire has secured three championship titles and holds the joint record for the most Finals Day appearances. Across formats, the club competes in the County Championship, Metro Bank One Day Cup and Vitality Blast T20, consistently nurturing top-tier cricketing talent.
Hampshire Women mirror this legacy of excellence, having won six domestic titles, including a historic domestic double in 2023, underscoring the club’s holistic commitment to player development and the continued growth of women’s cricket.

Southern Brave
Southern Brave is one of the eight premier franchises competing in The Hundred. Based at the Utilita Bowl, the franchise represents the competition’s modern, fast-paced and family-first approach to cricket. Across both men’s and women’s teams, Southern Brave has emerged as one of the league’s most consistent performers — reaching six finals and securing two championship titles (Men’s 2021, Women’s 2023). Their matches regularly attract sell-out crowds, reinforcing the franchise’s position as one of the competition’s most exciting and best-supported brands.
Through Southern Brave, GMR further expands its footprint into the UK’s newest and most dynamic cricketing format, strengthening its global multi-team ecosystem while enhancing pathways for talent development, content creation and fan engagement across markets.
India Capitals
India Capitals is a team in the Legends League Cricket T20 (LLC), a league of players who have retired from international cricket. We are one out of the four franchises that were a part of the inaugural LLC season, played in 2022.
India Capitals emerged as the first champion of LLC, creating a legacy in the very first edition of the tournament. The team and the league continue to grow as new ‘legends’ join the league and keep providing entertainment on the field with a dash of nostalgia.
