Dubai Capitals is a cricket franchise in the International League T20, a new T20 league tournament to be held in the United Arab Emirates. Owned by the GMR Group, Dubai Capitals are among the six franchise teams set to take part in the ILT20. Rovman Powell, a prominent member of our sister team Delhi Capitals, has been appointed to lead the Dubai Capitals squad. Sri Lanka's Dasun Shanaka will be his deputy. Phil Simmons will be the first-ever coach of the Dubai Capitals team. The West Indian was most recently in charge of the Windies national cricket team.
