Biography

Avdhut is a 24-year-old player who was born and brought up in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He has
joined the Telugu Yoddhas squad as a Defender. At the age of 14, he started playing Kho Kho.
He cherishes the time when he got selected for the second Khelo India Games and his team
won the tournament.
His father has passed away and his mother is a machine worker. He comes from a struggling
family background. He feels that it is a very interesting sport and he loved it when he saw it for
the first time. His brother also plays Kho Kho and that is why he got interested in it. He is
currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree. He wants to display a good game of Kho Kho, helping
the team to win the tournament. He likes listening to music, swimming and reading books. He is
also keen on cricket and football. His favourite sportspersons are Pratik Waikar, Cristiano
Ronaldo and MS Dhoni.
