After winning the toss, U.P. Yoddhas invited Jaipur Pink Panthers to raid first, and the defending champions drew first blood in the game. Both sides displayed calculated and strategic moves, with neither team willing to take risks when the score was tied at 5-5 in the game's first ten minutes. However, U.P. Yoddhas made unforced errors on many occasions, which were fully capitalized on by the Panthers. They inflicted back-to-back All-Outs on U.P. Yoddhas within four minutes and raced ahead with a 24-9 scorecard at the halfway mark.

The second half began with U.P. Yoddhas trying to stage a comeback, earning some crucial raid and tackle points quickly to reduce their deficit. After that, the Dubki King, Pardeep Narwal, shifted gears as he helped his side inflict their first All-Out on the Panthers. The 15-point lead was cut down to just 8 when the scorecard read 20-28, still in favour of Jaipur, with nine minutes to go in the game. However, some unforced errors by the Yoddhas in the second half made it easy for Jaipur Pink Panthers to regain their lead as they inflicted the third All-Out on the former in the game's final minutes. The defending champions walked away with a comfortable win of 41-24 over the Yoddhas.
