The U.P. Yoddhas - owned by the GMR Group - will begin their quest for PKL silverware on the mat against U Mumba in their opening Pro Kabaddi 2023-24 matchup on December 2.
The 10th edition of the fan-loved indoor sports competition will return to its 12-city caravan event, beginning from Ahmedabad (December 2-7) all the way to Panchkula (February 16-21) in 2024.
Furthermore, UPY fans can be delighted by the fact that their favourite stars will be playing at home (Noida: December 29-January 3, 2024) for the first time since 2019 (PKL 7).
The Yoddhas, who have reached the Playoffs stage of every Pro Kabaddi tournament since their inception in 2017, will face the other 11 teams - Jaipur Pink Panthers (defending champions), Puneri Paltan, Bengaluru Bulls, Tamil Thalaivas, Dabang Delhi, Haryana Steelers, Gujarat Giants, U Mumba, Patna Pirates, Bengal Warriors, Telugu Titans - twice in the league phase.
The dates for the Playoffs phase of PKL 2023-24 will be communicated in due course by the league.
