Rishank Quote
“Our performance at the 6th PKL has been satisfactory, as we have been playing without our star defender, Jeeva. So, even without Jeeva our performance has been satisfactory. The home-leg is very important to us and we will be giving our best.”
The team is being coached by former national player Jasvir Singh. Jasvir as a player has won the Asian Games Gold medal in 2014 and was a part of the national squad that won the World Cup in 2016.
Jasvir Singh Quote
“The home-leg is very important for us and we’re sure that the team’s performance will be satisfactory. In the matches during the beginning of the season, Jeeva was out owing to injury and the main challenge is that as there are continuous matches, we will have to take notice of the same. Jeeva is now back from injury and we’re hoping that he will perform well.”
Speaking at the conference, Col. Vinod Bisht, Head U.P. Yoddha said, “Our players have performed well and the matches they lost were closely fought. I am confident that all our fans will be excited to see their team get on to the mat tomorrow onwards and I can assure them all that we are not going to disappoint them.
