We faced them twice and the result went their way. But this time, we are determined to change it. With indomitable spirit and the will to bring smile on our fans’ faces, our Yoddha will lock horns with Bengaluru Bulls for the third time in VIVO ProKabaddi 2018. The encounter will take place at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune tonight.

A quick look

With their clinical performance in this season of ProKabaddi, the Bulls have established themselves as one of the strongest opponents to face. Hopes will again soar high as the Yoddha head out in search of a much-wanted victory to veer the course of their progress.

Their defenders

The Bulls’ defense is spearheaded by left cover Mahender Singh, who accumulated 6 tackle points against us in our previous meeting. To strengthen him, the Bulls will appoint Raju Lal Choudhary at Right corner and Ashish Kumar at right cover. Young Sandeep has also impressed as the left corner to complete the chain. Our mighty Prashanth has been the most successful to break this combination and a lot will be on his experienced shoulders. Increasing his responsibility will be the concern of Rishank’s availability, as our captain suffered an injury during our previous match. Also in limelight will be Shrikant Jadhav, who impressed one and all with his Super-10-performance against the in-form Gujarat Fortune Giants.

Their raiders

Needless to say, when it comes to our defence, we look up to our Mr. Dependable – Nitesh Kumar. In a red-hot form since the beginning of the ProKabaddi 2018, Nitesh has been exceptional with his trademark ankle-holds and when to apply them on the opponent. As we know, he has special likings for taking down the Bulls’ Pawan Sehrawat, we will await an exciting contest between the two. Along with Nitesh, we have Sachin, Narender and Jeeva to give us a powerful defense to tackle the likes of Sehrawat, Rohit Kumar and Kashiling Adake.

Story so far

Winning eight of their 13 matches, the Bulls are sitting on top of Zone B points table while we are at the fifth position with three victories.
