Jaipur, September 22: UP Yoddhas showcased complete dominance, handing Tamil Thalaivas a 39-22 defeat to storm back to winning ways in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12 tonight. This 17-point victory marked the Yoddhas’ third win of the campaign and their first in five games, converting previous glimpses of promise into a well-rounded performance where both raiding and defensive units clicked cohesively to secure two crucial points.

In a thoroughly dominant outing, the Yoddhas outclassed their opponents across all departments—successful raids (15 vs 9), raid success rate (36.59% vs 22.5%), raid strike rate (43.9% vs 27.5%), longest successful raid streak (9 vs 2), successful tackles (15 vs 10), and tackle success rate (71.43% vs 40%), asserting their superiority in every key metric.

It was a true display of teamwork, with every member of the Starting 7 contributing decisively. Raiders Gagan Gowda and Bhavani Rajput led the scoring charts with seven and six points respectively, while skipper Sumit Sangwan and vice-captain Ashu Singh combined for nine points.
