Telugu Yoddhas, the GMR-owned franchise, are confidently aiming to maintain their winning streak when they face Mumbai Khiladis in match 19 of the Ultimate Kho-Kho Season 2, to be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.

The Yoddhas had defeated the Khiladis on the opening day with a close 46-44 encounter and are seeking a similar result in their upcoming match. In-form Telugu Yoddhas have emerged victorious in back-to-back matches, most recently beating Rajasthan Warriors with a scoreline of 34-27.

With four victories out of six games, the Yoddhas currently stand third in the league standings, accumulating twelve points, and Khiladis are fifth on the table with five points.

Telugu Yoddhas will next play against Mumbai Khiladis on January 3, 2024. The game will be telecast LIVE and exclusive on the Sony Sports Network and can be streamed LIVE on the SonyLIV platform from 7:30 PM onwards.

Captain Pratik Waikar, an in-form All-rounder, has showcased his mettle by securing the number one spot in the Top Wazirs chart with 36 Wazir points. He also holds the second position in the Top Attackers and Total Pole Dive tables with 36 points and seven pole dives, respectively, in the six games played so far.

On the defensive front, Aditya Ganpule has been impressive on the mats, spending 12 minutes and 59 seconds in as many matches, making him the second-best defender of the season so far.
