Dubai, December 19, 2025: Dubai Capitals produced a complete performance to register a commanding 63-run victory over the Sharjah Warriorz at the Dubai International Stadium — their first win over the Warriorz in DP World ILT20 history.

Batting first, the Capitals built a strong platform through Sediqullah Atal (66 off 44), who anchored the innings before a powerful late assault from Mohammad Nabi (38* off 19) lifted the total to 180/7. The pair ensured the Capitals capitalised on a solid powerplay and set a challenging target on a testing surface.

The bowlers then took charge. Mustafizur Rahman struck early, while Mohammad Nabi and Waqar Salamkheil delivered decisive spells, claiming three wickets each as the Warriorz were bowled out for 117 in 17 overs. James Rew (47) offered resistance, but the Capitals maintained relentless pressure throughout the chase.

The win moved the Capitals to second place on the points table, keeping them firmly in the playoff hunt with the tournament entering a crucial phase.
