The Capitals are currently third on the standings with four points to their name. They have a better net run rate (0.652) than the MI Emirates (0.043) who are equal on points and are fourth on the standings.

Dubai Capitals, meanwhile, come into the fixture having shown flashes of their potential in recent outings. They have won three of their five matches in Season 4, with the likes of Rovman Powell (173 runs in five matches) and Waqar Salamkheil (11 wickets in five matches) showing their class this season. Their batting has looked settled, with the middle order stepping up, while the bowlers have found better rhythm in the powerplay and at the death.

Meanwhile, MI Emirates arrive on the back of a loss over the Sharjah Warriorz, having won two of their five matches in the ongoing season.
