Dubai, December 07, 2025: Rovman Powell delivered a batting masterclass to guide the Dubai Capitals to a commanding 83-run victory over the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, securing their first win of DP World ILT20 Season 4.

Recovering from early wickets, the Capitals were lifted by a decisive 119-run partnership between Powell (96* off 52) and Jordan Cox (52 off 36), taking the total to 186/4. Powell combined power with composure, finishing the innings with authority.

The Capitals’ bowlers then produced a ruthless display. David Willey struck twice in the opening over, while Waqar Salamkheil (4/29) ran through the middle order as the Knight Riders were bowled out for 103 in 15.3 overs. Support came from Mohammed Nabi and Mustafizur Rahman, who maintained relentless pressure.

The win, the Capitals’ second-biggest by runs in ILT20, delivered a major boost to their net run rate and momentum in the tournament.
